“Love this towel for several reasons: 1. Lightweight, very easy, and convenient to pack in a suitcase. 2. Dries very fast, allowing for using it multiple times throughout the day. 3. The sand doesn't stick to it as advertised. 4. After a week's use without washing it in Costa Rica, it doesn't smell… My only recommendation is to buy the XXL if you are planning on using it to lie on the sand. I bought the XL, and it felt a bit small to do so, but it was the perfect size to wrap around my body and dry myself.”

It's also surprisingly absorbent, considering how thin it is. I use it for toweling off after taking a shower at the gym. I should also mention that it dries very quickly. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is kind of "sticky" when you're running it across your body. That takes some getting used to.”

Owners back both — Kirk Andersen says it “dries in one pass with no lint.” The part to know before buying is the feel: it pats you dry rather than rubbing like terry, and a real minority never warms to that.

The XL — 30 x 60 inches — in Mint. On the maker's size chart the XL weighs 0.61 lb. The same listing carries 6 sizes and 16 colors, so if you want the hand-towel XS or the 40 x 72 XXL, you pick that variant on the listing itself.

Only on the 40 x 72 (XXL) size. The listing bullet and the maker's own “Zipper Pocket — For 72 x 40 only” caption both say so. The XL 30 x 60 in Mint that this page links has no pocket, and we will not imply one.

Because microfiber grabs damp skin instead of gliding the way terry loops do. daveofl (4 stars) calls it kind of “sticky” when running it across the body, Consumer7811 (3 stars) says it “feels like water rolls off,” and L. Collins (1 star) says “they just stick to my skin.” Most of the 30,783 raters disagree — 80% gave it five stars — but if you hate the microfiber feel, this towel will not change your mind.
